Megadeth are playing Folkestone, June 14th. The wife, you know you want to go to this!

So Far, So Good, So What was one of my favourite albums as a young chap, I hope they're still as good. Hmm.

I remember making the whole music class listen to 'Set the world on fire' when I was 14. The music teacher started an occasional experiment of allowing the kids to bring in a track of their choosing, playing it to the class at exceptionally high volume and then appraising the musical content. The teacher was surprisingly enthusiastic. Shame the rest of the class didn't share his appreciation!

We did the same thing

I brought in The Chicken Song. I was so uncool. Has anything really changed? There's probably a link between novelty songs like this, and the sideshow antics (though certainly not the music) of bands like David Devant, The Darkness, and Goldie Lookin' Chain.
