Christchurch earthquake
Home
We thought Clare's aunt was there. But she's not.
Mother in law got an email a couple of days ago from her sister, Aunty Veronica who is travelling the world right now to say she had arrived in Christchurch, New Zealand, not great timing. Got a follow up email yesterday to say don't worry, they're actually two hours from Christchurch, it was just a convenient big place to name. So all is good then.
Everyone likes to lay a claim to major events like this don't they, well that's mine, Clare's aunt is probably within 100 miles of a natural disaster.
You probably weren't going to anyway, but don't sent blankets.
