Chinese Mushrooms
Home
LARGE weekend catching up with some old friends, including eating in some posh pub around the Essex Road, no idea what it was called... had a cheeky beer in the Porter House, and tried to buy an exercise bike, wonder how long this fad will last... Also went to the Titanic Exhibition at the Science Museum, fantastic but also sad, hearing the stories of all those lost. Not sure if it's just the spin that was put on it, but a lot of the people on the ship seem to have been transferred to it from another ship at the last minute... There's a Lord of the Rings exhibition opening in September too that we clearly have to go to...
Also tea at Il Bacio, it's always nice.
Got sent some more house details but have also started to look outside London, have found a two bedroom flat in Folkestone that I could almost buy for cash... Hard to tell what they're like, but this one looks ideal too, on the market for less than 90k too...
Watched Live Forever last night too, it's supposed to be a great britpop documentary, but it's crap, spends too long talking about Massive Attack and some bloody Oasis tribute band. Very poor. Couple of exclusive (but surly) interviews with Liam Gallagher and Damon Albarn, though Noel Gallagher and Jarvis Cocker are on better form.

- Along with the fall out of Friday's divi mail, Monday is the busiest day... charts to process , new bands to add, and a lot of emailing
- At least I'm working from home today, temperature is over 30 in the office
