Last Night...

Feb82002

An review.

Last night's NME show: The Faint must have pulled out last night, and The Cure stepped in to replace. At least that's what it sounded like... If you've not heard them, imagine a lot of early Cure and a bit of Kraftwerk and Gary Numan and Soft Cell and all that synthy electro malarky. Ace.

And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead smashed the whole place right up last night, tres Motley Crue... I loved every minute. Where you the lucky punter who got a guitar that was thrown into the crowd? Then phone The Sun now, don't worry about the cost, we'll call you right back.

Clinic get full marks for effort - they all dressed as Pearly Kings - but they sounded less exciting than I'd expected, boo...

And that is the end of my review. No British Sea Power as they were on far too early.
