Lawks, Silverchair are a bit popular aren't they?
Silverchair are a bit big aren't they? Since being added to popEx, they've ROCKETED to the number one slot in the most popular bands chart...
Also (in a story lifted from raresilverchair.com who in turn swiped it from elsewhere) the band appear to be ABSOLUTLEY LOADED:
The "Sydney Morning Herald" real estate section tells us that Daniel Johns has bought a two-storey house in Merewether for $1.2 million (setting a record in the region) and plans to convert the squash court into a recording studio. Johns has two other houses in the area, including a place he bought in 1996 for $360,000 and another for $645,000. Drummer Ben Gillies bought a $650,000 place three years ago, while bassist Chris Joannou sold his Merewether place for $500,000 (he bought it for $360,000 in 1997) and bought at Terrigal for $617,000.
Who'd have thought it?
